Welcome to the Official Site of The San Antonio Chapter of 100 Black Men of America, Inc.

The San Antonio chapter of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. was chartered in June of 1999 as an IRS approved 501c3 organization, registered with the Texas Secretary of State, and began operations in the fall of the same year. Following the National initiative, we developed our local strategy to better the life of our local youth.

There are 4 areas of concentration in this initiative:

    • Mentoring & Education: We are currently working with several elementary, middle and high schools in the San Antonio Independent School District.
    • Health & Wellness: Dr. Loren Alves and Dr. Morris Stribling, working with community health agencies, are developing programs to address the health & wellness needs of the community of and the San Antonio Independent School District.
    • Economic Development: Committee members have an economic development initiative geared towards elementary, middle and high school students.

Our current President, Hubert Watson, has indicated his intention to continue and further develop this strategy.
